In June 2011, Dev starrer Paglu was released co–starring Koel Mallick and directed by Rajib Biswas. This shows in his movements.""Khokababu jaye, Lal juto paye" was most costliest song of Tollywood ( costing nearly 50-60 million ) till Khokababu released in January 2012 having item number "Dance maare Khokababu" which is costlier than "Khokababu jaye, Lal juto paye". What I like about Dev is the fact that he enjoys dancing. I have choreographed trendy steps in the locking-popping style. Hence, I left no stone unturned to get the desired result. I wanted everyone to be thorough with the steps. We shot the sequence over three-and-a-half days before rehearsing for the same 24x7. There's no doubt that he is an amazing dancer. The song's choreographer Baba Yadav said,"Dev has done a great job. The film had an item number by Samidh and Rishi "Khokababu jaye, Lal juto paye" which was the entry song for Dev in the movie.
The chemistry between Dev and Srabanti is so mellifluous that it added a new flavour which was tremendously appreciated by the audience and critics. The title track of the movie being shot at Switzerland is one of the best romantic songs of tollywood ever.
This movie was one of the biggest hits of 2010. This is the second collaboration between Dev and Sujit Mondol.
In December 2010, Indian romantic Bengali film Shedin Dekha Hoyechilo starring Dev and Srabanti Chatterjee released, directed by Sujit Mondol and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films.
